Purpose
Use this onboarding pack to start a new client relationship with clear expectations, required access, first-week priorities, and a simple reporting rhythm.
Client Kickoff Checklist
- Confirm the client's top three business priorities for the first 30 days.
- Collect access to the approved tools, shared folders, inboxes, calendars, and task boards.
- Define what the VA can complete independently and what requires approval.
- Agree on communication channels, response windows, and urgent-message rules.
- Set the first weekly report date and preferred report format.
Access Request Template
Hello [Client Name],
To start cleanly, please send access or invitations for the tools below. If any item should stay restricted, mark it as "not approved" and I will keep it out of the workflow.
- Email or shared inbox access
- Calendar access
- Task/project board
- Shared files or brand assets
- Store/admin tools if ecommerce work is included
First-Week Plan
- Day 1: confirm scope, access, deadlines, and communication rules.
- Day 2: organize the task board and document recurring work.
- Day 3: complete the first approved operating task.
- Day 4: identify blockers, missing access, and unclear ownership.
- Day 5: send a weekly report with completed work, blockers, and next priorities.
Scope Boundary Script
Thanks for sending this over. I can help with it, but it looks outside the current weekly scope. Would you like me to pause one of the existing priorities, or should I add this as a paid add-on for approval?
